Understanding Chinese Pinyin: Sandhi of the "不" (bù)

In Mandarin Chinese Pinyin System, the "不"(bù) can keep the original tone (4th tone, high rising level), only in the words or at the end of the sentence or read alone.

1. If ""() appears before another 4th tone syllable, the tone of ""() changes to a 2nd tone and the tone pitch changes from 51 to 35. [5135; ]
    不必(bùbì, need not); 不便(bùbiàn, inconvenient)
    不错(bùcuò, not bad); 不要(bùyào, don't)
    不但(bùdàn, not only); 不测(bùcè, contingency)

2. If ""() appears between the same verbs or adjectives, or between the verb and complement, the tone of ""() changes to neutral tone. [bu]
